Love You To The Moon & Back – The Hungry Moon

We recently checked out the @streeteatsmarket at Scarborough Town Centre and we have to tell you about a spot we’re totally over the moon about – @thehungrymoonfoods ☺️

Their super cute food truck and delicious menu items instantly caught our eyes! Specializing in Filipino cuisine, this family owned restaurant serves flavour-filled burgers called “Meat-eors” & silogs (Filipino breakfast dish with fried rice + eggs) called “Big Bangs”.

Choose from a variety of options for our meat lovers including beef, pork belly, Cajun shrimp & BBQ chicken. They also have a burger made with mushrooms and a tofu silog for our vegetarians!

The UFO Meat-eor

*Made with stuffed portobello mushroom + spinach, avocado, tomato salsa, torched cheese and their Flying Saucer sauce aioli on a brioche bun.

MMMM ☺️ This veggie burger was out of this world. All the ingredients & the creamy sauce paired so well together, we finished it in just a couple of bites!!!

Halo Halo

*Made with a mix of sweetened beans, tapioca, purple yam, shaved ice and a scoop of ice cream.

This dessert was not only pretty (that purple though), it tasted so unique & refreshing! It’s definitely a must try especially on a hot summer day – make sure to add it on with your food for that extra goodness.
