10Below Icewine Lounge – Peller Estates Greatest Winery Tour

Unwind with an Icewine tour in Niagara-On-The-Lake.

We visited @pellerwines to experience this unique wine tasting over the weekend and it was so cool (literally! 😉)

This beautiful winery has the only igloo-like lounge in Niagara, the 10Below Icewine Lounge. It’s actually made out of 13,607 kilos of ice and kept at 10 degrees below zero, which is the ideal temperature for harvesting Icewine grapes. In fact, 90% of the ice wine worldwide is produced in the Niagara region!

Sip on some wine and enjoy yourself on this fun tour ☺️ You get to learn about the wine making process and try out four different wines. End off the tour with a cute picture at the Icewine bar or with the blanket covered seats made of ice (after you’ve finished all your wine of course). All Covid measures were being followed including social distancing (maximum group size is 6 people) and only one group was allowed into the ice cellar at a time. You do only get a few minutes in the Icewine Lounge so be sure to snap your pictures quickly.
