10 Fun Facts About Us

You already know we’re two Toronto girls who love exploring our city, taking pictures, making videos and writing about our adventures. But, of course there’s definitely a lot more to know about us ☺️ 

If you’re here, it’s safe to assume you’re curious and would like to know, so here are 10 fun facts:

1. We’re both South Asian (Punjabi & Tamil) 
2. We grew up in Scarborough
3. We met each other in elementary school, but didn’t become friends until high school – it all started after we walked home together one day after school in grade 9, we’ve been besties since! 🧿
4. We’re both Leos born in July (Leo szn is the best szn 😉) and our birthdays are 4 days apart! 
5. Our favourite spot for ice cream in the city is Bang Bang! Our go to order is the Birthday Cookie D’oh ice cream on a Birthday cookie (it’s the best and you can’t tell us otherwise!)
6. Both of our first jobs were at McDonalds (and yes the ice cream machine was always broken haha)
7. The first place we travelled to together was Vegas and our favourite place we’ve been to is Hawaii. The picture below is from a 2 hour hike we did during sunset to see flowing lava from an active volcano!
   
8. In our spare time, we both enjoy staying active & going to the gym (we love going on walks, hikes & bike rides) 
9. Our shared hobbies include reading and listening to podcasts & audibles. We’re both big on personal development & self improvement and we’re super excited to share everything we’ve been learning!
10.  We both love music (R&B, hip-hop, rap & pop) and have been to many concerts together over the years (some of our favourite Toronto artists that we’ve seen live are Drake, The Weeknd, Roy Woods & dvsn!)
